ESET company announced the completion of testing the final release anti-virus package NOD32 Antivirus 4 for Linux Desktop, presented in two versions - for home and corporate users.
ESET NOD32 Antivirus for Linux is designed to protect computers running under Linux from viruses, trojans, spyware and other malicious software. The program provides a system scan, heuristic analysis, automatic updates of virus signature database, scheduled scans, as well as the function responsible for the treatment of infected files and the transfer of suspicious objects in quarantine.
A key feature of the package are the underlying antivirus engine "ThreatSense Technology" and "Smart Detection". With these technologies, the program can detect and block as a new cross-platform threat, as well as variations of known viruses.
For corporate customers (users of Business Edition) is available "Remote Administrator" module required for a remote control application on client machines
It is worth noting as well that the interface Antivirus for Linux is translated into 15 languages.
