VIPRE Enterprise for Mac

Sunbelt Software Corporation announced a new product called VIPRE Enterprise for Mac. The new software is based on the popular anti-virus engine VIPRE and protects user Macintosh systems from a wide range of Internet threats.

According to the Director Sunbelt Software Alex Eckelberry, today Macintosh system can no longer be considered completely safe. Virus writers are increasingly turning their attention to this platform, and modern organizations using Mac-system in urgent need for effective remedies. VIPRE Enterprise provides them with these funds.

The client software runs on systems running Mac OS X, and carries them crawling in search of malicious and potentially unwanted applications. Scanning can be run on-demand or automatically in accordance with pre-scheduling. Users will be able to study the history of inspections and view lists of files that are sent to quarantine. Corporate antivirus easily detects and removes specific threats aimed at the platform of Windows, but can harm the Mac-systems connected to the network.
