Company Dr.WEB has released a new version of CureIt! This is a free anti-virus utility for based on the scanner Dr.WEB. Fast and effective checks and, if necessary, cures computers running operating systems MS Windows 95OSR2 / 98/Me/NT 4.0/2000/XP/2003/Vista.
Dr.WEB CureIt! automatically detects the language of the operating system (if the local language is not supported, set the English language). Now available in the following languages: Russian, English, Arabic, Armenian, Belarusian, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Greek, Georgian, Spanish, Latvian, Lithuanian, German, Persian (Farsi), Polish, Portuguese, Slovak, Ukrainian, Finnish, French, Czech, Estonian, Japanese.
The utility contains the most recent set of additions to the virus database Dr.WEB and updated once or several times per hour.
Dr.WEB CureIt! detects and removes: email worms, Internet worms, file viruses, Trojans, stealth viruses, polymorphic viruses, macro viruses, a virus that attacks the documents MS Office, script viruses, Spyware, Keyloggers, Adware, potentially dangerous software, hacker utilities, joke programs, malicious scripts, and other unwanted code.
To use the utility simply download Dr.WEB CureIt! After this, run it for execution in the dialog box, click Start. Confirm the launch checks and wait for the results of scanning memory and startup files. If you want to scan your hard disks, select a directory tree (the central window of the scanner) objects to check and click "Start Scan" at the bottom right corner of the scanner.
After scanning the infected files will be cured, but the incurable - moved to quarantine. After checking the report file and quarantine is available.
This utility Dr.WEB CureIt! cure infected system, but it is not a permanent tool to protect your computer from viruses. Utility site always has in its structure the most recent virus definitions, but the program does not automatically update the virus databases.
